Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Monitor food freshness, proper storage, and rotation to minimize waste
- Assist with food prep including chopping, portioning, and mise en place
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Follow all food safety and health code regulations at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or in a professional kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain one
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
